There's no infinite feed to fall into. When your child finishes the videos on a channel, there's no "up next" to keep them engaged. The session has a natural end, and you set it.

We used AI tools to build SOYTRN. We did not put anything inside it. Nothing about your child's viewing is decided by a model, ranked by a system, or scored by anything at all. The list your child sees is the list you chose.
That is the entire mechanism.
Videos play in YouTube's own standard player, so nothing is re-skinned, re-hosted, or reinterpreted.
We keep a record of what was watched, nothing else. No selling data, no building a profile on your kid.
That's it. We record which videos your child watched so we can surface similar things from the channels you already approved next time they open the app. No profiles sold, no tracking across the web, no advertising identity.

SOYTRN was built on a simple idea: kids should be able to watch videos without a machine deciding what they see next. Every channel your child can access has been chosen and reviewed by a person, not a recommendation engine; there's no AI feed here, and no open, unfiltered version of YouTube. What your child gets instead is a smaller, safer library that we check and keep up to date every month, so it stays reliable and never becomes unpredictable.
We also don't profit from watching you. SOYTRN doesn't run ad trackers, and we don't sell your family's information to anyone. The only activity we record is what your child watches in the app, and we do this for one reason: so you can see on your own dashboard how much time was spent and on what. We don't use it to advertise to you, and we don't hand it to outside companies.
